Zimmerman
Equipment was founded by Walter Zimmerman of Litchfield, Illinois
in the late 1950's. In 1966, Zimmerman's first 3,000 bushel per
hour dryer was erected in Bloomington, Illinois, with three external
blowers.
Due
to noise and air pollution becoming a problem for grain elevators,
in 1970 the Zimmerman dryer was redesigned so that blowers were
installed internally. This design change made the dryer extremely
clean and quiet.
In
the 1970's the Zimmerman dryer became well known throughout the
U.S. commercial grain drying industry. In the coming years, Zimmerman
grain dryers would become very popular because of their efficiency,
reliability, low noise output, and clean operation.
Today,
Zimmerman's tradition of providing commercial grain dryers incorporating
innovative engineering, premium components, and the highest regarded
service program available continues under the ownership of ffi Corporation.
For
almost five decades, ffi Corporation has established a tradition
of excellence in grain drying throughout North America. Beginning
as a pioneer and leader in the manufacture of dependable aeration
and in-bin drying fans, ffi Corporation is today continuing the
tradition as the world's leading manufacturer of grain drying and
conditioning equipment.
The
excellence of ffi Corporation equipment is evidenced by the pride
in the workmanship, the longevity of these products (often over
20 years), and the loyalty of our customers.
Like
all great products, ffi's products get the recognition they deserve
- nothing less!, only the expectation of better things to come.
Their pursuit of excellence leads only to the next challenge - the

they are seeking new heights of quality through superior performance. |
